Think he was referring on aluminium on aluminium, or aluminium on steel, which is indeed a bad choice judging by how belts chew up alu belt pulleys in a month max.
Aluminium on plastic might work because it’s the harder material between the 2

Moon rims have dual mounting and use M4x16mm and M4x10mm bolts. You will be able to pressfit these rims onto the moon drives for easy installation/service.
Rim size is comparable to Phatlads.
Phatlads Spec:

2WD setup weighs 816.3g
4WD setup weighs 910.6g
Phatlads have dual mounting and use M4x45 and m4x50mm bolts

No, gears bearings anything wheres friction for longevity the materials must be the same, or at least the same hardness so the wear is equal on both sides

Is there any information on what motor bolt patterns are supported by the moon drives? IE TB6380s have two different bolt patterns and the flipsky 6384s only have 1 pattern. I think FS6384 only has the larger pattern of what is on the TB6380.
I couldn’t find it on the site but maybe I overlooked it.

Outer hole pattern is what is similar on most of the 63xx motors and fits on moon drives.
Both of the motors you mention will fit.

Can I be a tester for the wheels? 
Bushings arrived today along with boxes for the trucks.
Drives arrive tomorrow
Fasteners arrive the day after.
