200x75 Tires for science

These were 16$ per on amazon. No tubes included. 200x75 tubes exist. I put 200x50 and 175x50 tubes in them. 35 max psi per spec on side wall. Pictured here at 35 psi.

I haven’t ridden them under power yet.

They fit evolve hubs and trampa hubs, so likely most 200x50 hubs.

Expect needing a 10-7mm spacer or more to keep muffin top side wall from eating your belts or fancy gears.

Feel meaty like Kenda k909 tread, 200x50 tires (featured on Nazare). More substantial than MBS branded Inova Roadies.

Will update when I ride them under power.

These were Originally used on gas scooters.

Not for high way use.

Lurkers that should know of this include, but not limited to: @kook @MoeStooge @Venom121212 @Skunk @Saturn_Corp

Going to skate now, k, gracias.

The usual suspects for comparison.

Any chance you can measure the ID of the tire? Not all tires fit Kaly hubs… Thanks

Ordered.

Yeah, can we get an ID measurement as well as bead to bead distance?

Looks like it could be a good AT short track tire. The weight raises concern for 40+mph. Is a big boy, should look good on a wide wheel.
The wheel you have it mounted on is the same Metroboard uses.

Does it have a natural flat profile? Or does it need to be stretched by the hub to get a proper flat profile?

These were not a very good ride.

Trim your nails Mike. Ladies don’t like that.

As if it was easy enough dragging these trucks through doorways to start.

I’ll break out calipers for inquiring minds above next PM.

With spacers, it works. Swapped 175x50 from earlier test with a 200x50 tube that was popped unknowingly. Someone get angry and tell me this isn’t allowed. :call_me_hand:

You have to go to the lacroix Facebook group. Also go to bed mike

Nice experiment! A downside should be the fast drain of your battery.

And how did you dislocate both your legs?

Naw, not really.

About as much as you can hop with a Baja.
