Just got a wake up call from myself.

The battery I’m selling is not worth 300EUR so lowering the price.

New cells are 195EUR
Charger probably 35EUR
BMS probably 20EUR
Extras (fish paper, nickel, etc) probably 20EUR if not more
And then also labor, but lets exclude that for now.

That’s 270EUR from new

Selling for 245EUR + shipping and paypal fees

Bump

How Much capacity has the battery left :)?
My alternative is buying a new 10S3P battery for 175 Euros incl shipping. It would be 9Ah, but I would have no problem with getting a used one if it will take me further

I honestly have no clue… It’s an 18Ah battery from new.

The furthest I’m able to track is where I used 460Wh and battery was at 33,7V after. That was back September 2019, but I stored it at 35V since, so should be around the same.

And also only having 20-30 charges max, they should still be very healthy.

How much would shipping to Germany be
18Ah seems very overkill for my needs but I guess you can never have a big enough battery!

I’m afraid I don’t know if have the budget to fit this

Shipping to Germany with UPS would be 15EUR

Some of the downsides of having a big battery would be weight and need for bigger enclosure

What are the measurements :)?

That’s cheaper than I expected!
So you’re sure that the battery at least should still have 12Ah?

here

Absolutely 100% sure. The battery can’t possible fall that much in capacity over that little usage. Also forgot to mention that I’ve only discharged the battery to 33,5V to keep it healhty. You could drain it more to get more range.

Do you know anyone who made a wooden box to fit everything and just velcro taped it to the deck?
Tested it yesterday with a 550g strong dot, was hard to get it off. I got 3,3kg stripes here, a lot of them. The deck itself is pretty stable too.

My idea is too secure everything to a wooden plate with velcro and tanktape like we call it in Germany. Then just make the plate to a box and add velcro again to the top of it and the deck too.

The problem is, I just ordered all parts and will wait some weeks for them. I have an old 10S2P battery here with which I want to ensure the VESC, motor etc are working before I make 200€ purchases. So I guess someone will buy it before me

5cm could also be tight to fit under my deck.
No bad deal tho I must say!

Good luck with selling bro <3

I did that

I made a wooden riser and put my enclosure on top of it. The battery was held down with Dual lock to the deck which is included with the battery. Worked flawlessly and the enclosure was only some kind of support to make sure the battery was held even better in place.

It’s kinda hit or miss. So far only one except you have been interested. But feel free to hit me up when time comes around, you change your mind or whatever

Thanks a lot and good luck with the building! Feel free to ask questions

So a wooden enclosure seems not impossible. I think I’ll go with the velcro then  really blew my mind how this small dot glued so well to the deck and hold together with its partner with only 550g rating. That way I am also able to easily assemble and disassemble.

Ouh one more thing!!

Which wood would you recommend for that?
And how thick?

It’s NOT an wooden enclosure  Just a wooden riser. I guess you could put a piece of wood on top of the riser to close it though.

I got absolutely zero knowledge about wood. I think I just used some plywood. Basically the cheapest. I didn’t really care about thickness, as I had to glue layers of plywood together anyway. Think it was 15mm though. Then I used some Tec7 (waterproof glue AND silicone stuff) to glue the plywood together and also to glue the riser to the deck.
