Hi all, I have a 12s8p pack from a flux, 8 cells wide 6 cells long double stack. I was hoping to do a street build with dualities and radium 125s. WTB a deck + enclosure combo that can satisfy this.
Also open to recommendations of new decks to buy!
Tricky dude.
Probably can’t have much of a drop on the deckor you will need risers.
I have basically a Flux pack with a Tomiboi double stack enclosure on my 44.
It’s Dualitys and 200x50 tires.
It’s pretty dang low and scrapes all the time.
Maybe the new Odashi with the smaller drop.
The Psychotiller Llama is huge and Flat… that would probably work. But you can’t really get them.
Yea the new Odashi with smaller drop would probably work with risers. That’s my current best option I think
I want that deck so badly…
@andoug has Dualitys and SR125 going. But on an angled deck.
Hoyt Tabor deck/enclosure might fit this, depending on the battery construction. Hit up @jack.luis for more info, i heard he used to work for Hoyt.
I actually have them on a flat deck now. But this deck can’t house a 12s8p.
Edit: I guess actually this is angled, but not like a mtb
Fold all the segments of the battery on top of one another and go top mount
Half serious. can’t remember how those packs were connected between one another. Probably sketchy but…. it’ll ride lower ![]()
bump, anyone got anything??
Are your Duality trucks the street version? If so, I’d be careful pairing them with a double-stack enclosure and a deck that has even a small drop, like the Tomiboi Liquid Sword.
I’m running that deck with one of his double-stack enclosures (might be for sale soon), and the street Dualities turned out quite a bit shorter than the BN adjustable baseplates and hangers I’ve got on it now. I already get a little scraping with the BN setup, so the shorter Dualities would probably make it worse.
I’m on Torque Boards 110s, so 125s might clear fine. I can probably throw one of the trucks on to give you a better idea if you want.
That’d be great, still in the early stages of planning this build so this is very helpful
Yes they are the street version
Im planning on running 1/2 inch risers at least, potentially more if needed
You got it, bro. I will get you some pics later this evening.
I should have noted that I have 1/2” risers installed already, as well.
Here ya go!
With the current BN setup, I get a little scraping on my ESC heatsink from time to time (mostly when hitting rough/damaged bike paths). You can see some plastic that sits slightly lower — that’s the cover for it — and it’s about as low as the metal bottom. I have a 1/2” riser installed on both setups.
Boardnamic’s:
Tito’s:
My Tito’s are meant for a different deck I have on the way, but if they were for this one, I’d probably still run them — just a bit more carefully. Hope these photos help!
You need the SR 125s dude…
I knoooowwww ![]()
I tried financing a set from their site the other day, but it failed with a region error — pretty sure it’s because they don’t charge in USD.
This is great man thank you so much! I think with 1/2 riser and Sr125s I’ll be ok. I’ll update this thread when I test the theory lol
