World record esk8 🙏

Thanks for the replies and info!! I am still amazed that the world record is on such a short board. You would think that the faster you go, a longer board would provide more stability. For example: I ride my Bustin Sportster DIY to the grocery store, but when I want to go fast (my definition of fast) I ride my Lacroix. But the these Raith Boards are so short.

In DH, shorter boards make far more sense. The wheelbase being tighter allows for more controlled slides, which are necessary to take turns at such high speeds.

:point_up_2:t2: and that’s where Laroulette may be wrong choosing the “familiar” size board (DH board) which feels good/familiar to him? You don’t need the tighter turning radius or better said ; you really really don’t want this tighter radius when going so fast . Absolutely no sliding necessary here… yeah you’ll be sliding bigtime on your behind because of speed wobbles in no time !

@Laroulette are you intending to pay Guinness to come out and actually certify your world record run?
