I would put some carbon fiber beams down the center, split the battery pack on either side. Flexy pack + integrated carbon fiber deck would be cool.
Alright… part 2. I am trying to figure out an integrated deck that will not have a separate bump, it will just be a thicker style deck. But I have a few different ideas that I will show down below. Again, these are the sketches of the deck shape and a mold:
First: Classic deck shape but thicker. The lip that comes back underneath is what I will use to attach the lid to. I would have to figure out how to get it off the mold but I will ask my teacher about that.
Second: Big arc without flat sides. I would make a lid that would wrap around the top and back down the sides a bit to allow for fasteners.
Third: Flat bottom with curved sides. I would either make the walls thick enough to put in anchor points in there or wrap them over the top as well.
