Whats the down low on drop decks? [SERIOUS]

packs built specifically for boards should be built to flex and twist. Even the giant 12S8P 21700 cell packs that go into stiff ass Evos should be built that way.

I bought it from propulsion boards… not my best purchase. Having difficulty with links and media atm, sorry. New here.

12S3P with a Chi Battery Systems logo on it? @Chibatterysystems is here. I’ve seen his work, its good. Talk to him directly if you have questions, but he’s not a dummy and his pack should be able to take the flex. The heat shrink jacket will probably crack over time but the battery will more than likely be fine.

It actually looks like it is from honghaosheng

Thanks for the info

what? who the fuck is that? lol

ok you’re wise not to trust it with any sort of flex.

Yeah… looks like a Chinese manufacturer. I purchased it in may before the chi battery systems version.

I haven’t met a generic chinese esk8 pack yet that was actually built by someone who understood esk8. Starting with the OG enertion space cells. Anything built the way those things are is going to break welds or worse, not break welds and tear nickel instead, causing shorts and a fire.

Can you recommend any batteries? A flexible one ideally. I appreciate your time.

there are multiple people here who can build a reliable pack. Myself included. What cell count are you looking for? another 12S3P flat pack?

I don’t know enough about batteries at the moment to let you know. I prefer range to speed (20 - 25 mph is plenty fast) and some flexibility so I can swap decks and not worry. I know there isn’t a lot of information here to work with. Something that is relatively thin would be nice, it can be built into an enclosure as well.

I’ll PM you.
