Looks like I gotta get it changed
Insects. Everywhere.
I breathed in at least 3 during an 1 hour ride at night. -.-
Your title says you already did?
Only good thing about wearing Rona masks.
And facial recognition cameras.
You’ll always be Kale to me!
all hail kale!
voted seven consecutive times as worst vegetable…
Still ranks higher than POTUS who definitely ranks as worst vegetable
Kale chips though.
Had 4 fairly new packs with around 20 cycles and forgot to unplug my VESC for 3 days. Checked voltage and it was around 4v, charged them up outside really slowly and saw each one puffed around 3-4mm and noped tf out…
Ouch. That sucks. Are you saying that your VESC doesn’t sleep after 30 minutes (or whatever) of inactivity?
I don’t think so.
When the spouse plugs in my esk8 charger into the porta vacuum cleaner resulting in a dead one…
It was supposed the be a mounting plate for the neoboxes instead of them bashing around.
The plan was to mount them to the print like this:
Where it then gets mounted to the existing Enclosure/Lid i have:
in between comes the mesh to keep rougher dirt away + my Wind catcher.
Plan A was to use the already existing holes but i might drill new ones that use the pillars instead of the weakpoints that broke off.
Plan B is a plate that attaches to the bottom of the enclosure and the neoboxes will be held in place by velcro for easy removal if i need to unplug a connector or so.
Ok then I recommand you simplify the design a bit : split in two halves boltables or snappable together
Make a full frame (bottom and top lid are similar structure), T pillar with triangular supports on 2 faces and keep two other faces open (to slide the NeoBoxes inside before bolting)
Having two halves that you lay flat on your printing bed with give a regular print and stronger result overall once mounted I think!
Edit : you can even make a full “cage” kind of structure so the esc cannot move unless you dismount the cage
I’m sorry i have absolutely no idea how i can visualize that in my mind
One moment
@xsynatic here
Sorry for the shit quality lol but basically you print two and bolt together, lay each flat on bed printer
Easy in fusion. one body and component
Do you meant stacking them?
Yes, instead of making a single box I was suggesting to split in two halves from middle and stack them to make a complete box
