I used less chloroform last time, I thought you’d remember

Before I get sent to derail jail, I’m going to take photos of my favorite tools later.

Some of my faves:
T100 soldering iron plus a heavy tip and a 6S LiPo
Quality 63/37 flux impregnated solder
Wera Tool Check Plus
Wera Allen Key Set (metric)
Zip Ties (yes, it’s a tool)

Tape, hex set, soldering iron, and cardboard

If I was limited to only 10 tools I would die but then again I’m a woodworker hobbyist so that makes sense.

Table saw takes care of most cuts but isn’t necessary. A mitre saw will do the job unless you need to rip boards.

Soldiering iron and supplies are a must.

Caliper is a must.

Multimeter is a must.

Wire crimpers. These ones are shit and I have to eyeball everything but were $5 and do the job.

Kreg pocket hole tool is by far my favorite woodworking tool. It makes super strong and clean attachment holes and I can’t recommend it enough if you are woodworking.

Air compressor for all sorts of weird tools and attachments.

You know what these are at this point. Interested in trying the bondhus version if these ever fail me.

Just in case any coyotes try and attack you or your dog while skating.

All the bits for different materials. I need a nice metric set to match.

Vice grips and tin snips. Grab or cut almost anything you have laying around.

Router, preferably with detachable table for clean cuts and finishes.

Sawzall for cutting things you don’t care about anymore.

Heat gun. My wife crafts and they call it an embossing tool. Same idea, both full of hot air.

Mitre saw, cheaper and smaller than a table saw and does a lot of basic cuts. A manual saw and Mitre box can do the same but with much more effort.

Kreg again, attaches to your circular saw to be able to cut down large sheets of materials.

Belt and disc sander. Wish it had a drum as well.

Vice clamp. Holds things while you attack them.

Forstner bit sets to make all the holes you need.

Beastly mechanics tool set. Has never failed me.

Scroll saw for cutting curves in wood.

Circular saw for cutting big awkward stuff, impact drill for dat torque, jig saw for detailed cuts, sanders for sanding.

Shop vac for cleaning up all the mess you just made.

Battery terminal puller for getting pulleys off? How does that work unless the inside of that tools shaft is smaller than the pulley ID?

I want one of those power supply stations but need to know more general uses for it. Enlighten me please.

My top 3

These scissors cut everything! Use them for tape, paper, small wire gauges, nickel strip, Velcro. Whatever you got that needs cutting.

This swivel head ratcheting wera set is the shit! Comes with a small variety of sockets, Hex/Torx/Phillips heads along with some extensions.

And a quality digital soldering iron. Can’t advocate enough. My life has forever been improved since I got the Hakko. Latest solder I’ve been using has been some Kester 63/37 and it’s amazing. Costs a little more but so what.

The puller I have has a 6mm shaft, this is the one I want. The one I have is pretty much junk at this point.

The lab power supply can be used as a variable voltage charger or to setup VESC’s at low voltage. Mine has programmable buttons (M1, M2, etc.) that lets you configure the voltage and amperage (42v x 2a, 50.4v x 3a, 12v x 1a, etc)

Only reason I bought a ratchet crimper was for the diebiems.

Only reason I bought a dremel was for deck clearances. I have since also used it for cutting an axle from a surfrodz truck.

Only reason I bought a welder was for welding my own batteries.

Only reason I bought an analog mitutoyu caliper was to measure the hole the trucks left over on the hummie deck to 3D print a charging plug mount. Still haven’t used it.

Only reason I bought a soldering iron was for diy battery and move to diy from meepo. I received a better one from super Santa @Grozniy a t12.

Only reason I bought a wera set was to replace the broken cheapo hex sets and to not ruin my current hex screws. I bought another set because I broke the 2.5mm from the first set on a motor pulley grub.

Only reason I bought a 3mm t tool wera hex was to replace the L from the wera for removing the screw on my enclosure. I got tired of using the t tool and this is way faster.

These are just tools that were needed for specific esk8 reasons. I inherited my grandfather’s dewalt/mastercraft collection so there isn’t much in terms of tools I dont have or actually need
Calipers would be something I want but not sure I need

The amount of times I have needed these and thought “I’ll buy those right now” then ended up on pornhub instead…

Still don’t have any.
