this…
i always like these topics to see whose got the what going on… I have a pretty steep starting hilll from my place… on the supower and 12s I had the no brakes issue as well on focboxes…i went back in and bypassed the bms and the issue went away no problemo.

on my bestech 12s yeah that thing is solid for discharge, never had a cut out on full especially going down the steep ass hill to start. Granted I try and roll down that section as slow/fast as I can run it off with mental time delay should shit happen… so i say either bypass or bestech… or now-a-days it looks like all my packs have a d140 anyways so its all bypass

Trampa kinda has it for MTB  Perfectly fits law category physical brakes

Yeah I am running through it for discharge but ya I think it is the VESCs, idk

Maybe it is the BMS with a high voltage protection since it is charging back through the circuit

Bestech is more annoying to order from though cuz you gotta get 2

I know about that. MBS has hand brakes as well, but no of them is integrated into sprockets, pulleys or gears.
