Voyage Systems: Megan and Minnie

The “trip km” doesn’t get reset upon power cycling. To reset it: Menu > Reset session. (Press and hold either of the two buttons to open menu.)

Any way to have this reset automatically? Like on a full charge or after x hours of being unused?

Looks awesome! Does it work with metr too?

Is this this something we can already try as beta?

Also looking to use the Android Watch is implementation here. My build is almost done, Minnie already installed and Voyage connect downloaded and Android watch is ready.

New Voyage Connect app only works with new hardware, such as Megan and Minnie

Yes, you can try it after joining beta track on Google Play

@rpasichnyk I managed to install on my samsung watch, but receiving the error of wrong firmware. But firmware is up-to-date. Do you need to release a new firmware for this to work?

Additionally, my voyage connect app (phone) is not “seeing” the minnie at all…i can only connect using Metr app. Any ideas?

I had the same issue on my Apple Watch but I msg them and you have to turn on beta updates. Also I did the update through the metr app due to some weird WiFi signal error on the voyage connect app and it worked.

I still have issues on the voyage app tho; any tips?

@rpasichnyk - Voyage connect app still not connecting. i am using Android. Can you pls help?

I have tried to switch Minnie for a new one, still doesnt work. Tried different wifi, tried to connect using a different phone, with and without beta program. Nothing works. The only thing that connects is using Metr app.

Looking at the logs, i see some interesting stuff.

  • It says it’s missing permissions, but all permissions are granted.

Maybe try to delete the app, install it again, pay attention to permissions which the app is requesting when pressed on the scan button?

I will have a look on Monday and try to figure out if there is anything missing with permissions.

I did that couple times, erased app data, forced it to stop, uninstalled, installed again…and even got my wife phone to do a fresh install…nothing working.

Here are some screen shots of app permissions hope it helps.

I haven’t been able to reproduce this issue. I have tested with Samsung Galaxy S23 FE (Android 14) and Google Pixel 6 (Android 15 Beta 2)

Here’s how first launch looks like:

After tapping on “Connect” button, I get permission request:

One issue that I found, if bluetooth was turned off in pull down menu (control center), Voyage Connect would not notice it in any way, and would display an empty list. I improved it now (the warning is shown):

After enabling bluetooth, I can find Megan:

Can you please make sure you have all the latest software updates installed on your phone? Maybe you also have an opportunity to test with some other phone?

Thanks for looking at it.

I have used on S24+ on both phones (Android 14 as well)…i am pretty much sure the bluetooh was on, because i could connect using Metr…not sure what else to look.

I have an old S21…i will try to test when i get home…is there anything else you want me to send you (logs, recording of screen, etc) ?

Same problema here, android 15. Oneplus 11, metr connect, voyage connect no! Apple phone connects. Tryed otherl androids, no luck, ONLY One off a friend

I have tried again with a 3rd phone…no connection. I can only connect with Metr :sob:

When connecting the 1st time with bluetooh Voyage connect doesnt even asks for pairing. Using metr, it asks for pairing and pwd code is needed. Metr works well.

Ok, thanks for the reports, will investigate further.
