Brushless motors will only pull as much current as they need to overcome the load.
Throttle controls motor current, so full throttle from a dead stop should give 75A motor current for a little bit.
Battery current is [motor current * duty cycle (aka how fast the motor is spinning)]
So at full throttle with the motor spinning at 25% of max RPMs will pull 75A motor current and 18.75A from the battery.
You won’t ever get to 75A (150A) battery if your motor is set to 75A (150A). You would need to be pulling full load at max RPMs to get close, but even then it’s going to be ~20A less.
Take a look at the telemetry on this ride.
30A motor, 25A battery, 90% duty cycle, single motor maintaining 48km/h. It only needs about 1,000w to overcome the wind load.
