VESC Fault need help

When I hit throttle, the motors do not turn and my Davega throws error code pictured. The left wheel turns just fine. The right wheel has a lot of resistance turning. There is no overheating or noises that I can tell. The code says VESC Fault DRV Fault. I do not have any tools to test the motors or controller. I cannot tell if the motor shorted or the controller went bad. Any insight would be appreciated.

I have 6384 190kv Flipsky motors and and Stormcore 60D controller.

This is sometimes caused by a loose battery connection, but more often than not a DRV fault undicates the VESC is probbaly no longer going to function.

Have you checked for phase shorts?

period? or after the faults?
sounds like half of your ESC could’ve exploded if this extra resistance came about after the faults started

The resistance started after the I got the fault

Sounds like you have a classic case of stormcore nomore. Open up the board to confirm. Or a motor died, but that tends to also take escs with it. Check the stormcore, then follow the above guide for checking your motors
