P42A in comparison to Samsung 50G at 10 amps seems to be equal performance, but 50G will have a higher temp and the higher given energy density. I’m confused, what to choose.

i would always choose the lower temp even if it means less range/power
If they have equal performance at 10A, which they do, then their energy density is essentially equal since they are the same size and essentially the same weight. 
I don’t know how their cycle life at 10A compares. Without that info I would choose the cooler running cell.

Interesting question. 500 cylces at 10A for P42A (lygte). I guess, that P42A will run cooler at 10A, because of the lower impendance. 18,5 mOhm P42A vs. 35 mOhm 50G. 50G could have a lower cycle life at that load, I reckon.

I think you will be very happy with them. Though you may have a tough time selling customers on them. Too many people just look at the mAh rating when comparing two cells, and assume that bigger is always better.
My post is essentially going to be something I can point skeptical customers towards to explain why the range we get from a cell is affected by a large number of things, and mAh doesn’t even come close to telling the whole story.

We are currently at 1179 P42A, 55 P26A. I have yet to add cells for me to those numbers. Gotta check with the budget troll to see how many I can afford.

If things keep moving at this pace, I would like to start collecting payments today/tomorrow and place the order on Friday.
But if a lot of folks would prefer moving a bit slower then I could plan to close the order form end of day Friday, collect payments over the weekend, and order cells on Monday.
