Hi all,
Go kart tires are starting to catch on in the esk8 racing scene. Like it or hate it, I wanna try it, and currently the only way to do so is by having Stooge make you a custom 5/8” axle for your 3-links and modifying an off the shelf go kart hub to mount to his gears.
I wanted something with maximum compatibility with existing esk8 trucks, drive patterns, standards, and go kart wheels, so anybody can use these tires to “ruin esk8 wheel to wheel racing forever” -@Evwan ![]()

Compatibility list:
Bearing spacing:
- MBS - with extended outside bearing bores, you can stack up to three bearings for increased load capacity, depending how much axle space you have. We worked closely with Big Bearing™ on this design to ensure you’ll be buying as many bearings as possible.
- Urethane (please don’t actually use this, it was put there exclusively for shits, giggles, and photo shoots) - one 22mm bearing seat, one 28mm bearing seat. Use one 608 and one 638 bearing
Esk8 drive bolt patterns:
- MBS - threaded holes
- China 80mm - threaded holes; MBS usually works fine but we added it just in case
- Linnpower/Etoxx gear drives - 40mm circle
- Exway gear drives - 43mm circle
- SRB drive hub pattern, but M4 instead of 8-32 (in case the MBS interface suddenly disappears again
) - Additional patterns might be added on a case by case basis if you ask within the next few days, but no guarantees
Go kart wheel bolt patterns:
- American standard - uses captive nut pockets on the inside of the hub and bolts to attach the wheel. These hubs have been tested to fit inside DWT Classic American standard wheels, which is what Stooge has been using
- Metric standard - counterbored threaded holes to accept standard M8x1.25 kart studs
- CRG front hub standard - counterbored threaded holes to accept standard M8x1.25 kart studs
These hubs are designed for kart wheels with 2” backspacing or less. Others might work, but likely future batches of these made at different lengths will be required.

Pricing and Availability:
Currently $200 per set of four shipped, but if we get 10 sets sold, that will drop to $150 shipped. Full price is expected to be $250+ if this becomes a stocked item.
Extras:
Wheel centering rings: we plan to offer 3d printed wheel centering rings for common size wheel bores to eliminate wobble while mounting. They will center based on the bearing bore of the hub. More info and pics to come.
Laser cut drive shims: depending your tire/wheel combo and/or drive system, the tire may bulge past the edge of the wheel, interfering with drive components. We plan to offer laser cut shims in varying patterns to increase spacing between wheel and drive system to address this issue.

Who wants em?
*looks for the poll button* fuck I have to be a regular to do that and I keep losing it. Jackon will post the interest poll
