Thats gonna fly with 18s ive put 12s in mine, its not quite enough to pull a wheely. I was thinking of upgrading but as its for my daughter i decided it would be a me upgrade and not hers

Whats your plans on braking and throttle?youâll absolutely 300% want to hook up the brakes to be on the motors, the vbrakes on these is nowhere near good enough to stop this animal.

Looks like a JBD smart bms, you can now get cell voltage telemetry to vesc with an esp32 bridge and a vesc-express:

Interesting. I brought a battery recently that had one of these on until now i didnt know what it was, didnt even know it was smart until searching my other battery and it popped up, thought my neighbour bought a new toy
have you done this yourself? Wouldnt mind trying to set it up.

I am happy to help however I am able to get folks up and running with it

Need help from the community if anyone can help me wire the brake and throttle for this thing hit me up. I have an idea for how to do it but some more help would be appreciated.

Hey man. I havent set the brake on mine yet. Planning to get it put on this weekend so i will hopefully be able to help you out. I have my throttle set through a flipsky tft screen running on uart but from my understanding you can run a ground, 5v/3.3v adc1 from uart on your esc to the 3pin connector. Im hoping this is the case with the brake line(soon find out)

Ok. Officially f**ked off with this brake. Looks like adc 2 input doesnt work on focbox. Read some amount of info leading to the same conclusion but no explanation on Y. Having any luck of the maker x board?
Are you sure? On what firmware? Try reflashing your firmware and if it doesnât work i will check mine
I suppose its worth a shot. I was hoping to use uart and adc setting so set brake through adc1 with throttle on uart through the flipsky display. Somehow i toasted the flipsky screen 
i might try fault finding on the screen tomorrow, hopefully its a simple fix.
Any suggestion or input on this battery box set up besides velcro and more foam? Is the whip open in the box like this ok?
