Its a compromise. It also keeps people from voting against a vendor in order to support another vendor or just because they don’t like a vendors hair color or whatever.

Who’s do you guys think is going to be the first
- vendor to bribe people for upvotes by providing a discount
- customer to threaten a vendor by downvoting if they don’t receive a refund
I mean I guess that’s how reviews always have worked, but usually it’s either one or the other. Perhaps we need to enforce some rules to keep things fair?
