I just realized this thread exists and I never showed the finished pack…
So here it is:
nicely layed out balance cables with fishpaper as a bridge to cross the wires.
I added some copper wire to distribute the current better for the main power cables
Some more cables to ditribute the amps at the bms
8A sand filled fuse for the charging port
100A main fuse and a ton of fishpaper
I’ve also put a sheet of 1mm thick teflon under the pack so there is good insolation to the metal box.
The XT90s is there to power the mountainboard. Not exactly a loopkey but rather a complete connecting/ disconnecting of the batterypack from the vesc.
Then thin foam was added to the sides and the lid of the enclosure.
And yeah, it really was a tight fit in the battery case but at least it can’t rattle around in there.
