Okok, but for real though, if you had 2 treads instead of one, each driven by a seperate motor, and then program the treads to a bkb nunchuck so you can turn with tread speed/motor speed? When you turn joystick left/right tread/motor speeds up or slows down to turn you. More for winter If that makes sense to anyone and not just insane rambling?
Did y’all see the first technical drawing?
Given that each tread is rounded, it likely just skid steers? Really weird though.

That’s my take as well, Plurfy Jebus, as far as my minds eye can muster any real attempt to imagine this as a physically present & functional object in the same time & dimensional space I occupy, I absolutely cannot fathom a single one of these patent drawings providing enough linear stability to even stand on, much less be able to engage in the locomotive properties the designs provide for. _ ASIDE FROM the builds making use of a split track layout with central board located motors & Belts that bifurcate the monstrosity of an circular-oblong object taking the place of what we describe as a wheel, - in that a sufficient contact patch seems apparent.
It states repeatedly the source of speed wobbles being the opposing wheels being acted upon via slippage & that dynamic is what induces wobble effect… whis is new as hell to mye & i’m pretty sure waist deep B.S. .i
This seems like piss poor research & I’ve never seen or heard anything to that effect.
IF these mono wheels were setup with the full-on Sherman Tank style track outfit, AND IF each side of the front & rear wheel were able to rotate in OPPOSITE directions - (Key aspect i do not think is provided for in any of the design schematics) - THEN & ONLY THEN - do I believe this might serve as an all terrain stretcher to remove wounded from the theater battlefied scenarios, as well as resupply/reinforce & silent ops applications. I’m stoked I wasn’t the only one that fell all the way down this rabbit hole.
Reason I found it was I had a really cool idea for a track mounted board & was searching for any patents - i found this - but I also found this https://ungoverned.com.au/
As I’m sure most of you must be aware of by now - because it’s almost identical to whet I had in mind - except this cat has fleshed out the idea further than my pea brain did in the moment.
I’ve had a chat with this cat. He’s gracios, cool & fkn all about bringing new tech & experiiences to the community at a low cost.
I warned him about protecting his idea because at scale - this has military application all over it & encouraged him to invest in several quality patent attorneys - or just a great firm - to both protect his idea & ensure any malicious encroachment is met with a litigious urge towards fair use 
I should add - what I meant by “malicious encroachment” - not going after guys tryna expand on the idea in a way that would benefit the community or anything - the proprietor of ungoverned is hands-down - as cool & easy-going as anyone could be - I was referring to someone stealing his idea for military application & profiting from it. The patent protection in such a case could be worth bajillions of bucks - especially since I can see this thing scaled uo in size to a platform with the tracks being snowmobile sized to ferry ammo &/or for med-evac on the battlefield.
It’s truly an epic & awesome thing he is making real - and there is zero doubt in my mind - there WILL BE a military use for a scaled up version of this in many forms - I just would hate to see this gents awesome creativity & effort be hijacked for profit by someone lacking in creativity but with an abundance of connections & a Machiavellian motus opperandi.

And there are military gas dirtbikes, what’s your point? As the world moves to electric transport so will the military, that doesn’t seem all that crazy to me.
