Torqueboards customer service?

I get that, but at the same time even pre built stuff doesn’t say. “Dont go down hill with fully charged battery and brake” yet it’s one of those things we all kind of need to know.
Some things we learned the hard way.

And honestly my thing with breaking Wheels in could be completely antidotal. It’s definitely not a guarantee that wheels won’t chunk.

Fair enough haha :love_you_gesture:t3:

wait. WTF? really?

i always imagine everyone here has skate or mtb background… and a few surfer snowboarders. people get on a lighting powered murder board without knowing how to skate that’s terrifying.

Truth.

Like, do people who don’t know how to ride a bike buy motorcycles?

shit, my dumbass probably would

I tried out my friend’s eboard before I decided I wanted to make my own, but not before learning to ride a normal board

There are people who literally skips the basics and just go for the trends. I never heard of esk8 until 2018, so I used to ride skateboards and bomb downhills with my longboards for the time. I don’t know why people would skip the basics. It’s a pretty bad thing.

definitely. Only one of many of my esk8 buddies actually knows how to ride a pushboard. I knew I’d probably do some stupid shit and get myself hurt if I didnt learn how to push first

Hi. Yes. That’s me :wave:t3:
I like going fast. Well. At least that’s what I thought until LA crew came along and destroyed the whole Bay Area esk8 gang . I had no choice but to quit group rides after that.

Does anyone know offhand if the bottom of a TB motor is swappable? Where you bolt it to your mount. I dont think I’ll be able to tap my motors for m5. However @bwahl602 has an old motor that has a good bottom piece that I could swap to if so. My only other option would be to switch to kevins dual idler mount as he uses an X pattern to hold the motor which exposes the inner mounting holes.

You guys are still the OG’s of esk8 :call_me_hand: but it’s nice to see you passing the torch :1st_place_medal:

I’m not really sure how it is attached to the stator, pretty sure it’s permanent.

What makes you think m5 is too big? Not much more to go wrong immirigt?

I’m gonna let Cisco decide if he wants to share the story but basically the founder of Onyx bikes threatened to unleash his many sluts to attack Cisco for saying he didn’t like the look of the Onyx

It was the funniest shit ever. I’ve never seen a man so butthurt

If your feelings are being hurt by somebody telling you something about your product. Your product isn’t good enough, or your feelings aren’t.

I brought it over to @bwahl602’s to show him whats up with it. He mentioned it might be too close to the stator to tap, also I’d have to drill the mount to fit m5 screws as well which would be a pain. Swapping the bottom piece would be clutch as then I wouldn’t need to get another motor, especially since Idk if he dex still stocks the 170kv 6380’s.

Im kinda butthurt this shit happened but my hummie is fucking cursed. Cant catch a break :man_shrugging:t2:

battery issues, d140 issues, blown drv on focbox, snapped axle, now this shit. All within 5 months. I dont think this board has worked for more than 2 weeks at any point without some shit happening.
