There are people who literally skips the basics and just go for the trends. I never heard of esk8 until 2018, so I used to ride skateboards and bomb downhills with my longboards for the time. I don’t know why people would skip the basics. It’s a pretty bad thing.

Does anyone know offhand if the bottom of a TB motor is swappable? Where you bolt it to your mount. I dont think I’ll be able to tap my motors for m5. However @bwahl602 has an old motor that has a good bottom piece that I could swap to if so. My only other option would be to switch to kevins dual idler mount as he uses an X pattern to hold the motor which exposes the inner mounting holes.

He mentioned it might be too close to the stator to tap, also I’d have to drill the mount to fit m5 screws as well which would be a pain. Swapping the bottom piece would be clutch as then I wouldn’t need to get another motor, especially since Idk if he dex still stocks the 170kv 6380’s.

battery issues, d140 issues, blown drv on focbox, snapped axle, now this shit. All within 5 months. I dont think this board has worked for more than 2 weeks at any point without some shit happening.
