60V parts means 12S max, yes.
Some folks run 13S on those parts but I don’t think any quality manufacturer recommends that.

Might be worth a consideration then. I run my vescs open so the more i ride and the faster i go the cooler they get. I want the same effect on these obviously

They will be better with direct air cooling. You can run them much harder.

Hope you can get an answer on why it has been hard to fulfil your requests.
It seems like they have to do pretty big volume to make it work but then having so few employees makes it difficult.

I think to get his economies of scale to work he has to order some ungodly amount, that is impossible to get at the moment.
