I enjoyed making that video :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

you should have smashed a couple of sb and 3d printed bindings to pieces to show the progress.

Could some of the features be simplified and then have it CNC cut? prob a waste of money unless they were in a crazy rush.

CNC aluminum would get a little pricey. I’ll look into speeding the baseplate along.

I am not using the stock rubber spacer, I cut up a bike tire and used that rubber. Therefore I tried to put a stopper for when the board flips preventing the rachets from going all the way down. This did not really work well the way I did it with a wood screw randomly stuck into the binding.

What worked better was picking a pebble up off the ground and crushing it into the deck under the toe clip. No more bindings ratcheting when you don’t want.

A ratchet-lock would be an interesting feature.

What’s the idea behind the gasket?
Is it just to conform to the deck?

Yes, exactly.

Spiked one or non spiked one?

I can send you a new one.

I’ll probably find it, if not I have a bunch of not-as-cool ones around. :frowning:

Well, I made a video.

Just keep it a secret that I’m missing a T-nut this whole time.

lifesaver! i will totally use this.

@tomiboi after a week of using my toe-clips, most of the foam on the underside of them has withered away. Is there a suitable replacement? My feet dont feel very secure anymore.

A few people have reported this problem to me. I had actually upgraded the foam to a “more durable” option, but apparently, it’s not durable enough.

I’m looking into silicone or a soft rubber instead. In the meantime, I’m happy to replace the foam. Otherwise, you might try DIYing it. You can buy rolls of adhesive-backed foam or silicone on Amazon for cheap. Then you can customize the pad to your liking and have a lot of back -up material should you wear through them.

Yeah I have tons of neoprene, I was just thinking about rubber or something more grippy.
