This Swol Moon Guy’s Stupid Builds

Time to revive my build thread baby. I have plans to build up a 18s6p p45b super spine power by v2 solos and 205kv modors. I already have most of the parts and have slowly been preparing. I will upload updates and photos as I go. Huge thanks to all the guys at @Skyart ’s misfit garage… @ARCTIC @zero_ads @poastoast . Should be a fun rip at esk8con.

Thank you, @ARCTIC and I bounced back and forth a couple times but I think it turned out stellar.

Really nice looking grip tape. Who made it?

It’s 3m vinyl not grip tape (but that would be sweet) plan is to put grip tape over the black parts. I got it printed at a local place.

Only thing I’m concerned about is how the sizing is, he needs to try it out so we can see how badly it’s messed up lol

Slowly we shall keep going. After another weekend, I’m finally ready to attach my bms and main leads. The photo is backwards meaning they will swap sides. I think I’m going to name this spine the Apollo SS. I dunno, sounds fitting.

Things finally starting to get there, a couple hours here and there. I got the rest of my parts so hopefully, Apollo SS should be cookin here soon!

Awesome build!

May want to consider some fish paper beween balance cables when they cross to each P group. Just a bit of extra piece of mind in case vibrations over time cause enough friction to wear through the insulation.

Ive read it’s best practice. Did it on my pack. Certainly can’t hurt

Will do, I was thinking about it! Thank you for the help!

or, if you’re stil able, cross the cables before they’re on the pack! that way there’s no crossovers

This is what I usually prefer, it’s cleaner

Fishpaper route we went. For a personal build that I wanna get up and running asap. It got the quick fishpaper route. Should work good. I swapped a bms lead on accident so you can see where I had to fix it but other than that, she’s charging and all balanced! Also not the giant QS-8 connector going from 8 gauge Superworm wire to split 10 gauge superworms. Shouldn’t have any current issues.
