Alright Party People

We are back for year 3 of Carve PDX! After a glorious first 2 years, we return to once again skate Portland and have fun with our friends.

Come join us for an extended weekend skating around the gorgeous PNW. Portland is one of the skate capitals of the US, with hundreds of miles of dedicated bike paths, trails, & plenty of streets to shred & hang with friends.

In Portland, you can legally street ride and are offered the full protections as bicyclists. Combined with an average speed limit of 25-35mph for cars, this makes a perfect environment for us to descend upon with our electric murder sticks.

Helmets are required and we encourage appropriate safety gear.

Daily event schedule for Carve PDX 2023 will be posted in the near future!

Thanks to @FreeSK8-Foundation, Hoyt Electric , Defiant Board Society , Redember Boards , Metroboards , and Derelict Robot Industries for sponsoring. More sponsor announcements to come!

Portland Oregon is my hometown, and I am super excited to see everyone again this year + hopefully many new faces.

Fun fact: unlike vegas the prices for hotels in Portland are overall very reasonable. A quick search shows the highest price at ~$300 but most look to be around $100-$230. So no need to camp if you hate camping

In case anyone is interested but can’t be bothered to look at the prices themselves this far ahead of time.

The Air BNBs aren’t bad either. I had a house all to myself last year.

might split it with somebody this year though.

I will be there again this year, just for the main event, I can’t work the camping into my schedule this year.

So I’m looking to get in on lodging again with a couple peeps. Not sure if anyone’s gotten together on that yet. I’ll be driving up from northern California as usual.

I’d be into splitting an airbnb. Could get a two bedroom / three bed and try to get one more person to split it three ways.
There are a few two bedroom/three bed places for $200-$300/night in the Mt. Tabor area:
