Do you have a charger cable for a phone?

No we plug our phones into the wall

For everyone to know

I have a piece of string in my house I am just to lazy to get it

I will do so tomorrow and tell you the result

continuous current would be more like 10+ seconds.

@rusins that would be like saying 120A battery pull at startup is continuous current.

if it didn’t calculate with idler pulley the belt would be too short not too long lol :joy:

@BigBen Told you…

But at startup 120A motor pull won’t translate to 120A battery usage due to the voltage conversion by the ESC…

It’s all about heat generated in the batteries, and even if they don’t warm up noticeably in those 5 seconds of breaking, you can’t be sure about the cell internal temperatures.

As long as 18650 don’t hit past 80c internally when braking then it’ll be fine.

Which hit won’t hit durning 20A per esc.

So the string measured out between 365(when left unstreched) and 370 when the string was stretched out

Stretched?

Don’t use a string you can stretch

As in when i leave the string flat out it is 365mm

When I pull it tight it is 370mm

As a reference I have a 430mm belt that measures 420mm so I guess add 3% length and then another 5mm for the idler to pick up

370 included going around the idler pulley

I’d say 375mm then?

K

Does anyone have a belt in that size they could part with

Rs components will do.

Could everyone please just back out of this fucking thread and let it die. This board will be a burned piece of toast by the end of the week and/or shelved for the next fad.

All of this is straight up fucking ridiculous. Honestly. Stop wasting your collective time.
