The Singularity™ bushing design for Channel trucks.

Already out! Mbs released the Kit that goes with it. It comes with an adapter base plate and hanger - you have to provide your own trashcan for the “leftover” parts though. Still have to wait for the singularities to go full release though

Dude. Totally worth getting some matrix III for these…

This is such an interesting way to put it.

They just don’t really fight you back.

It’s not even the same trucks dude…

So true, it’s like they got their ass beat and had a 12 episode training arc just to murder the bbeg in one hit like it’s nbd.

I never considered trying the same shape on front and rear.

The LaCroix is 30/20 I believe.
I don’t have any additional angles.

What angles do you have now?

To be honest, once I tried B/C it felt so good I didn’t want to mess with it on the mountain board.

Ive got neg 5 in the front and neg 10 in the rear. (Edited) 30/20 final angles on the lonestar deck. I really like it. It seems to follow you really well at these angles and not feel divey. I can do micro carving at high speed where i keep my body stationary but swing the board back and forth to carve on sidewalk width paths… kinda feels like a surf/pump board

I like to try to go into a speed wobble too, just because it’s a negative feedback loop set like this so you can “play” in the wobble and stabilize it just by weighting the front foot. It’s crazy but so am i

Edit, looks like it may be 35/30 to start. Gonna grab a protractor

Bit of a mystery

Edited, found the compendium of euclidian deck specs

I’ve been running 35/10 and it’s been interesting. I think 30/15 may be the move

Yeah, but you know how it is. Already have these parts and everything is built. Plus, I’m a big boi. I need wiiiiiiide trucks.

duality

I love my dualities, they feel sharper and refined. My singularity setup lives in the same space in my head. I also love that i have a singularity board and a duality board…

Feeling like a trinity board is in my future somewhere but i hate how fussy three links are and the naming opportunity is long past.

Put some miles on the c/c setup and it was nice but not as nice as the b/b. The shape has such a big impact on how the center feels i just don’t like the asymmetrical setup as much.

Back to the b/b 93a and specifically preloaded the rear. Feels good mane. So there is the loooong parking lot that’s almost two lanes with nose in parking along both sides nw of mohai in south lake union

Runs parallel to the bike path along the waterfront there and has a slight bowl to it with big nasty stormwater grates and utility hand holes sprinkled in it and the asphalt transition at each opening is a moon crater but the grate sits an inch proud of it. An absolute death trap for eskate… so logically i like to run this late at night at high speed and see if i can carve between the closely spaced obstacles.

Like doing cones but more murder-y when you hit one . It’s a really great test for how nimble a setup is and i like to hit some spots at 15-20 and by the end im accelerating to 25-30. Helps drain the battery and recharge the soul.

On dualities i can easily weave my s curve through this mess keeping my speed up and breaking hard to make sure my lines are tight and accurate. On the c/c setup i could really feel the calf workout even if the first impression stepping on the board is really good - just takes a little more weight to keep it flowing. On the b/b i hit everything as hard as the dualities. I should mark out an official line for carveSEA - need to give out a few crash stickers right?

Side note: i have hit the pothole grates before and wiped out - it’s extra embarrassing because there is always an audience in some spots . Only on dualities and the b/b singularities (never hit on the c/c because i dont have as many miles on that set) have i ever recovered at speed in mid arc. though i don’t often miss my lines - the recovery on dualities and singularities is consistent and always gets comments and daps from other riders - euc - surron - and eskate alike. Better than suspension.

I get this. It’s a good way to put it.

I am currently in love with both Dualitys and Singularity.

I can hold 30 so comfortably on the Dualitys.

But I can get so much more playfulness and tight turning on the Singularitys.

Both are so good…

Anecdotally, I can’t seem to exceed the envelope of stability on either so far. Last night i did a 47 mile ride on the singularities, 25 miles being on a group ride through some rough and some twisty roads. Seattle seems to import small sections of the moon to pave the side streets idk. I was able to comfortably keep up and carve around 30-35mph.

I’ve definitely settled on my ideal setup for the singularities. Front: b93a 30 degrees. Rear b93a 20 degrees. I out turn and corner everything and have to check my speed to make sure im not losing other eskates or leading them into turns or terrain they can’t handle. On my home path i hit a long fresh curvy asphalt road (greenlake way) and get up to max speed often. Stable and carvey.

My max speed for the Bog Roosh is only just 42 at full battery but i hit max duty cycle a bit more often than i like now. I didn’t think these trucks would ever be stable enough to maintain that speed but now im starting to flirt with the idea of upping my motor kv a step.

My duality build is on 170ish kv so tops out at 47mph loaded and i haven’t maxed it out. Im going to take it for a spin this week to get some fresh eyes on the comparison while i put the bogRoosh on the work bench and swap in the final riser/wedge design and either fix the sensors or tune the hfi better if they’re dead.

Center mounted unloaded bushings just feel so good

Really loving the updates. Question for all the testers, Is the A shape useful or should it be dropped from the lineup?

I think if there was an updated A that was closer to B, it would be more useful, but I understand how that can be obnoxious logistically.
The 3 other shapes give a lot of adjustability and tuning potential

When I lowered my setup with the thane Wheels I wanted to go to A.
And I rode A/C and loved it.

I definitely felt like A was too squirrely with the tires.

But once I got low it was a different story.

I do realize my setup is pretty unusual though

I didn’t find the a shape useful to me with my setup. It was just too little resistance and return to center to be useful on my large under slung enclosure with so much leverage. Risers and the weight of my board with 8” tires just seemed too much for it and i never rode it outside my garage. I can’t imagine a normal use case that a softer b wouldn’t cover for me

I’m guessing I could totally get by with a softer B on the thane set up.

I went from 93B to 96A
