The real reason 6 shooters always puncture tubes

I love how your valve stem doesnt fit through the hole and the tube loses contact with the wheel an inch either side too

People want to call me emotional lol. I thought thats what the e in esk8 stands for?

Even old mate above, takes a pic of his own wheel and doesnt even notice that there is a huge problem going on with his wheel. The very same problem I just discovered and shared so peeps can stop destroying tubes, meanwhile he goes in to battle for a poorly designed product.

That is emotional.

Im not concerned with whos toes I step on, online or in person when I deliver factual information about poorly designed products.

I love it how you order stuff from the seller receive what you’ve ordered! Don’t inspect right away yet months later here you are. Playing the victim roll. You shoulda contacted him months ago when you first got your product Don’t take it personal That’s just my opinion

You should probably fix your wheel.

See the green arrows, they indicate where your valve stem pinches against the wheel

The red indicates where your tube loses contact with the wheel

The blue dots are where the tube does not seat against the wheel

The Yellow dots are high pressure points where the tube will likely fail

Franny is Dave’s #1 fan.

I sold him two limited edition MasterCarve stickers for $100 one time. True story.

And yet there are hundreds of sets of 6 shooters with 100s of miles on them. I’m sorry you are having problems, maybe contact the seller and see if you can get some help?

Either way, I highly suggest a couple of Motrin.

Personally that doesn’t bother me. Instead I feel like that’s a good thing to keep the inner tube valves surroundings away from that pinch point that a lot of peep are having issues with. Heck. Haggy did the exact same thing by adding o rings to the valve stem.

200 miles on the shooters and not a single issue With them :upside_down_face:

I mean i see his point but, if shit aint broke… dont need to fix it right?

It ā€œCOULDā€ pinch there every time you put weight on that spot when you ride.

@Saltyfingore is correct about the 6shooters.
The valve hole is too small and could lead to problems.
Whether some of you guys have experienced these problems or not is another matter.

That particular issue with 6shooters is an easy fix (unlike other issues).
