Like all Psychotiller products, from across the room they look like the full biscuit, but as you get closer you begin to see problems.
With my 6 shooters I could actually see problems from across the room, so before Inflating them I decided to pull them apart and have a look.
What I found shocked me, and pissed me off at the same time. To call this bad work is an understatement. To call whoever did this a cowboy is to disrespect cowboys in general, in fact its even disrespectful to cows.
So when I opened the wheel up I saw this. Razor sharp edges everywhere, especially where the valve stem is supposed to live
This bearing was even pressed in with a big piece of swarf stuck behind it, I had to press it out and clean it up, a heat gun worked well to expand the aluminium wheel and luckily the bearing came out fairly easily.
After making sure all the valve stems could pass through the holes I cleaned everything and lubricated the area with silicone grease, then fit them back together.
I had to do the same on my 6shooters.
However this is not the only cause for leaks around the valve.
Apparently some Clever tubes suffer from poor bonding of the valve to the tube.
I had more than one valves detach in that area without even using them.
Didn’t haggy put those o-rings on their valve stems for this reason? I dont have those sixshooters but a few of my buddies did own them. None of them had flat issues.
