THE New Go-FOC DV4s

momentary just means the type of switch in its mechanical construction, the function of the switch is what we r after, usually written as NO or NC switch, which refer to Normally Open or Normally Closed switch. they function the exact opposite of each other, but both can be made as momentary switch

Same switch came with a buddies d75 last week.

Not all heroes wear capes.
16mm dia or 12 mm dia are ideal.

@YUTW123 Is there a way to make the DV4s use a NO button?

That’s a problem.
I will change them in the later PCB update.

We also have a shorter button style, you can make a note while order…

Anybody had success doing 4wd with these?

Also do these support auto-turnoff ? @YUTW123

Finally installed mine.

Also, having coming from v4 hardware, I thought I could just transplant my bluetooth module. Had to take a second look* to realize that it’s following v6 pins and needed to switch RX and TX pins around.

*Well, several. Old age is finally affecting my eyesight. Gonna need reading glasses soon.

Running into two issues, probably user error since I’m new to vesc tool.

First problem is when starting uphill (high load) the motors begin to turn then lock up and I fall off the board.

Second issue is after a short ride the motors start to really lose power, can’t even make it up a small hill.

Did you specify battery and motor currents?

Ran auto detection

Probs low battery discharge/regen current, what battery do you have?

Or incorrectly set battery cutoffs

Battery is fully charged and cutoff set to 36v

Set the max battery current to 45A and max battery regen to 15A for each half of the ESC

Any fault code on vesc tool?

Probably hitting your absolute max current. Make sure Slow abs current limit is set to true. And set your absolute max current to whatever maker X recommends.

Haven’t seen any faults pop up but then again I don’t know how to check.
