Hey peeps, are there any googles that offer a wide field of view and are ok with glasses?
I want to wear my airy Fox Proframe again but I need or rather want goggles.
All I have are the sucky Ruroc ones.
Thanks.

My girlfriend recently bought a Vsett 10+ (Upgraded Zero10X) and wants to upgrade from a triple8 sweatsaver to something with more protection.
She doesn’t like the TSG Pass and would prefer something like this:

I was wondering if anyone else has good recommendations for a helmet for females. Maybe your wife or GF has one that she’s really happy with, let me know!

My girl stole my BELL Super 3R MIPS and seems to really like it. Her having some face protection, even if its not full face, makes me a little more comfortable.

Totally forgot about this thread, but a few weeks ago my fiance took a spill at approx 25mph. Broken humerus resulting in surgery with a plate and some pins, broken thumb, and some road rash.

The helmet took a bit of damage to where I can honestly say without the face protection she would have a broken jaw at a minimum. Without a helmet she would have been in critical care or no longer living.

So the Bell Super Mips gets my seal of approval along with my deepest gratitude.

All the best to your girl, a speedy recovery.
Good to see the helmet helped.

Anyone tried the Nobleman TK02? Reviews seem good as far as I can tell. Im between this or an IXS Trigger downhill mountain bike helmet with goggles.

I have had my teeth saved by full face helmets so many times. My vote is always for full face first, then for safety, comfort and VENTALATION i prefer MC helmets. My current Snell helmet is same weight as a PASS.
BUT ANY HELMET IS BETTER THAN NONE
My 45 mph crash last month on a chipsealed asphalt road reaffirmed that 1) im a pussy for wearing too much gear and 2) the gear worked and i got a limp and full leg bruise for a month and nothing more. I had a gouge in my visor(where my face is ).

I used to be young and invinceable,i was sure id be dead by now,if i had it to do ove again, only thing id change is more saferty gear , more or some insurance and super glue instead of stiches 90% of the time.

Unhelpful data point but IXS is 10000% better looking imo

Wait, what ?!

yes all first aid kits should include super glue. It is utalized in the medical feild. Dermabond Advanced Topical Skin Adhesive by Ethicon use it t work alot, clean the wound well, use a fresh glue tube, disinfect the tip ,push the skin together, tack it at first then run a bead. Obviously im not a doctor, follow my advice at your peril, but i have fixed some nasty cuts that way,and gone for stitches when i could have glued and carried on .I just use super glue from rite aid etc

im also a fan of butterfly bandages and these adhesive skin tape strips.https://www.amazon.com/MED-PRIDE-Butterfly-Non-Stick-Hypoallergenic/dp/B09PNTXRJB/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=146PAFVT3H50T&keywords=butterfly+sutures&qid=1689076300&sprefix=butterfly+su%2Caps%2C160&sr=8-2-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1

my babt moma is a vetrinarian, we would go back packing and id get cut doing something stupid, she would at first stich e up, then she had a staple gun, but glue is the best allaround. I hate that fucking staple gun,im not a fan of the thread pulling through the skin, the glue as long as you dont glue your fingers to the cut,is painless
