The HAERO X APEX E-specific collaborative E-Mountainboard deck is available to order now!

When I designed this skin (my first ever deck graphic design, last years was bought in) I purposefully made sure there was nothing that could cause issues like that. In all honesty no two layups will be the same and the sheets will always be laid slightly out.

I hope you like the deck, we haven’t even made a board with it yet other than the prototypes

After mounting bindings it’s anyway not that visible :sweat_smile:

@Haeroboards This may be a stretch, but any chance we could purchase this deck without the routed channel? (either the Apex or MBS variant)

Wrong company there, buddy

Whoops, thanks. Was looking at their Pro/Comp/Core specs at the same time

When i make the boards I lay in black PU sealant around the battery cables. Would that work for you?

Just one question. Still is no clear for me if length of this last Haero deck is exactly similar like Bro Dawid Rzaca or it is little shorter ? Thanx for clarifying.

Hi Phil
Just additional questions.

You wrote that last model is 2cm shorter. Have this some effect on wheel base distance or position of bindings?

Personally prefer to have also shorter wheel base for better turns but staying with width of foot position.

Please let share this info.

Thank You a lot.

Hey @Facko just the outline is 2cm shorter. The wheelbase options and bindings options are 1:1 the same if you compare the dawid rzaca bro model with the e-specific deck.

Shorter Wheelbase with the same bindings position could cause shoebites wit 8 or 9 inch wheels as it is already as close together as possible

If you want smaller turning radius you can try to use wedged risers to have a bigger truck angle. 5° already change a lot.

Thanx :ok_hand:

Hi Phil and Haero,

I was wondering, what type and size T nut did you guys use for the footbinding mounting holes? I have a deck I’d like put footbindings on without penetrating all the way through the deck, just like this Apex deck. I have one myself and love how easy it is to install or remove bindings, and keeps the bottom of the deck clean. Thanks!

Hey, M6 x 12mm should work fine

Thanks for getting back to me! I’m actually still a little confused.

From my understanding, I thought the flange of the T-nut sits flush to the top or bottom of the deck so the threaded part sits in the deck. But on the Apex deck, I can’t see the flange on the top of the deck, and not at the bottom since it doesn’t go through. How is it installed in the Apex deck?

The inserts in the haero deck are snowboard inserts and they’re incorporated into the deck before the outer layers are laminated on
