So I ended up using our Fishbone template but stretched the proportions to match the OG semendeed. Pretty stoked on it!

The only thing I’m questioning is I made the tail 10mm wider than the nose mainly thinking about the pull on the deck in that section from the motors.
Good idea in theory and may look good once it’s all set up but looks a tad fat for now.
What are peoples thoughts on that?

Much cleaner lines and I also don’t mind the junk in the trunk wider back. Did you consider having it tapering back in a little so it wasn’t as noticeable though?
Will you be just making double stack enclosure or is single on the table also?

Looks good dude. I’ll never get over the curves of this deck. That fat tail don’t look bad. My only 2c what if the fat tail tapered in slightly kind of like how the whole deck tapers in at the end.

Technically the enclosure is a single stack, irs just super deep. It’s approx 37mm deep at its shallowest point, not quite deep enough for double/stagger stack, but deep enough for single stack with BMS on top, or possibly even some lipos would fit in there. Could stretch it to double/stagger stack with some gasket wizardry too.

Thanks guys. Yep great input. I’ll taper that rear tail down 8mm or so.
I think I’ll set this deck up on our website as a Made to order scenario as it’s race specific people will want more individually specific things out of the layups and finishes.

Don’t quote me, but I believe the internal dimensions to be around 680 x 215 x 37
