Thanks for everyone’s input. I think I’ll go back closer to the OG shape and get a boner on the front and rear
Throwing in my 2c I like the intent of the curves my problem is it leaves the board very squarish and rectangular. I do like the pointy end, what if you did only one of those curves like the middle one ![]()
I’d keep the pointy tip and cutting the scallops straight. That could be real clean IMO.
Makes it different enough to know it’s a flow state semendeed immediately. Still looks clean af probably.
Next thing you know you’re going to have balls hanging off your trucks.
. Some beautiful artistry right there. Look out Banksy……here comes Wanksy
You know what’s up ![]()
Oooooh baby!
I can tell you only partially hate yourself since you opted out of infusion. Few less swears this way it seems
Whats the layup?
Depends how you feel about bubbles ![]()
It just seemed to me like the easiest way to start to learn.
I just went to a boating store and told them what I wanted to achieve and they gave me all the shit so I actually don’t know the specifics. I know it’s apparently the strongest version of the fabric and I was thinking 6 layers of it. Just went for the white gel coat too.
Do you think 6 layers is enough?
Might be, depending on weight.
Let us know how stiff it turns out!
Easily i reckon.
The only enclosure i ever made was 4 layers from memory (cloth weave-chop strand-chop strand-cloth weave) and it’s strong as fuck. Might have only done one chop strand too. Cant quite remember.
Thanks mate. This is only cloth weave so sounds like 6 should be plenty
I did 5 with some pretty light duty weave. It was a floppy noodle.
Hopefully your heavier stuff will suffice ![]()
What type of resin did you get?
Thankfully there’s pills for this these days
