Don’t buy it its not worth it

It’s truly worth $40 tho, not the 120 it was originally posted at lol

Controllers have triggers for that. Acceleration is never controller by the stick in a game. I think

This was also my impression after about 2 weeks with this remote. It’s interesting, but not worth more than ~$50.

Anyone worked on a CAD model of this?

@BuildKitBoards any drawings you could share?

would be cool to see some custom shell designs…

How about a rubber band?

The power wires can be resoldered to the other side,if you wanted to tuck it on the back. If you wanted to flatten it more the display connector can get removed and battery moved to be somewhere else.

I’ve been curious about potentiometer input swaps on other remotes, could try taking apart an old console controller and see if it works.

Flip it upside down and you could potentially make it a trigger?

Bet so!

Probably would want to print the trigger pretty thick on a good printer because if it cracked that would suck. Or even modifiy the included thumbstick although prob too large.

The two input buttons would need to be custom mounted as they are surface mount. Unless you did some very funky lift up/lever button haha silly idea.

I guess easier to case swap this remote to be trigger style.

You mean the puck?

I was just comparing the size of the throttle pot in those pics.

For sure BKB is easier to change given its slightly smaller pcb and throttle position.

The first case I want to make for this remote is a hand loop grip free style. Wish the throttle was less tall on the Voyager for these mods but its workable.

WIP changes list from V1 to V2

-Slightly changed case does not crack open like an egg, 2 more screws added.
-new radio, comm tech changed.
-throttle is hall effect not potentiometer input based.
-rumored to allow customized display screens made for Onewheel instead of Esk8.
