Great, according @avx it makes good sense to repeat what made unity so great and we are all counting on you and your team to come up with as good (hopefully better) :
“
I have regarded the unity as the best esk8 ESC since its release - Integrated antispark, small form factor, relatively fast firmware updates, relatively cheap (comparing to its alternatives), metr compatible esc with a user friendly app, and …”
cannot understand the hype about a product that isnt been tested yet.
Dont get me wrong its not an offense against you or jeff but they are all talking loud in the beginning(like JP) to sell their shit.
@jeffwuneo the advantage of unity is: small form factor. Combines items into 1 device (antispark,…)
But most important: BLUETOOTH APPLICATION
Im running several boards, but my oldest one with Maytech controllers (old type 4) i don’t even want to touch from far anymore. I absolutely do not want to open enclosures just to change a simple setting.
For all my unity boards,
I open my app. Connect via bluetooth, change settings, apply. Done.
I dont even have an on-off switch anymore in my enclosures.
I have an offroad board with bindings. My buddy is regular while im goofy. No prob. Open app. Push button to change rotation of the engines. Write to unity. Done.
“Keep it simple and stupid” . Unity shines in that department.
(yes, if you buy a Bluetooth dongle, there is no need to open enclosures. Correct. But its another device/vendor/possible failure point)
