The End of Boosted?

Thats @Lumaci I think

When all those boosted boys with dead batteries who said DIY boards are all shitty looking start washing up on our shores.

Thats me yeah.

He just now posted an update comment, I guess he found some stuff, but there’s not a whole lot in the factories, keep it low

Boosted not making any more product. They have some inventory left they try to sell now. I know all they factory.

Yeah he had said they hadn’t produced new stuff in like a year, it was mostly wheels and some miscellaneous parts laying around.

Apparently several chinese boards use the Boosted wheels now

That is crazy. What an epic fail.

They owe many money for factory and bank because they not pay more than $20 million USD which is owing now.

Can you get us their parts cheaper? I think some of us would go for a Boosted rolling chassis (deck/enclosure/drivetrain) and pop some better electricals in there

There is no parts, only thing like wheel. For batteries can getting but is many from recall for V2 battery.

There’s a lot less room inside those battery enclosures than someone might think with all the plastic support pieces and the lid that has to go on top. It might not be the best for boards that need a larger range / more power than a regular boosted

Eboosted 10s vanguard enclosure ftw :+1:

Yeah theres nothing left.

They only have recalled or rejected parts from older boards.

Around 100 motors left all with the wrong bearing, around 50 battery packs all with the BMS RLOD issue and the old trucks that had the issue where they snapped.

But im working with a motor factory or not working, more just talking with them finding a new supplier for bells so we can fix up the ones with the shaft issues.

Is that for v1 or v2/stealth motors? I’ve got a set of v1s that could use a replacement set to have on the ready :joy:

All Gen 2 V3 stuff.
