The Definitive Guide to Metr App / Metr Pro

Haven’t tested legacy overlay for ages. There is one more brand new overlay option, directly inside the app. Somewhat similar to what Ackmaniacs app had (you have to use your phone camera). On the Realtime screen swipe right, bottom bar should disappear. Then long press → Add → camera. Add other widgets as you like. Then use screen recording on your phone. Would this work for you?

That’s cool. I wasn’t aware of this feature. Unfortunately not quite what I’m after. I have a GoPro recording and a Metr log and I would like to put them together. VIRB works for me but it only shows positive watts. You can’t tell whether that’s accelerating or braking.

Did you try out the other overlays? There were quite a few when I last looked at it

Yes, I know, that sucks. VIRB edit was done for normal bikes. Watts are not supposed to get negative they say

Pretend that the motor current is a temperature as a workaround?

I’ll PM you, maybe we figure something out.

An idea, record just the overlay with a green background or even black and people can merge with their own videos

Question @rpasichnyk

Would this setting…

…cause what I’m seeing here in the log overview? There are no VESC faults recorded for this session and I do have my notifications being sent every few seconds for things like speed, battery, etc.

None of my other boards do this, although I can’t remember if I have notifications set up for my other boards or not.

Trying to iron down if they are ghostly VESC errors I should diagnose, or something else. If these are notifications, it would be nice if they were in a green box or something so they don’t get confused with vesc faults… If it’s not that then I got work to do unless you have some insight.

I think @Murloc992 has seen similar issue with ghost faults. I really need to look into it. Will do!

What is the setup for this board? I am interested which VESCs and how many.

Hello,
I have connected a metr.pro can with SD and GPS to the RAIDEN 7 of my E-Foil MALA. I have 2 problems:
The first one is that I don’t have the impression that the GPS connects: blue light flashing on the gps module.
The second is that the expert mode does not detect the information from the RAIDEN 7.
Do you have any solutions?
Thanks

Ha no now it’s flashing but red

So I got the answer from Roman: the application on my phone was simply not up to date.
Thanks Roman.

Could anyone tell me what should happen after I select my xiaoxiang / LLT BMS for pairing? For me, it just disconnects from the metr pro, and when I reconnect again I dont see the data from the BMS appear. Showing data from the BMS used to work for me a while ago but not anymore. The BMS works fine with it‘s own app.

Please make sure you have the latest version of the app from App/Play Store. I fixed some issues with LTT BMS recently.

Hello,
I did the first test of my second e-foil equipped with a metr pro can module with GPS, I have 4 different recordings (auto pause) but only the first one of 3 minutes 50 has a complete data recording, the others have neither map, nor speed nor distance just the duration, the max current.
Do you know what this could be from?
Also what are the parameters to enter in the engine tab for a foil?
Thanks @rpasichnyk
