Oh I just figured it called the flexibms a smart bms too, I haven’t seen it before

I have some renamed LLT bms’s and the metr app doesn’t pick them up until I rename them back to default which kinda sucks :man_shrugging:t2:

Hm, maybe it’s something that can be fixed with an update, although I don’t think I ever renamed mine. I still don’t see the update on my end yet

Weird, I’m on android too and just updated today

Guess I’ll check again lol

I think it would be useful to have an option to still use the regular battery percentage calculations for those of us that run charge only setups.

You don’t have to have it wired for discharge to see the battery voltages though?

When you have 5 or 6 of them in your garage renaming becomes very necessary.

Is there a trick to renaming the LLTs? I have to try over and over again to make it stick using the android app

I haven’t tried it, how does one rename LLT BMS?

you can do it in the “app settings” in the LLT app (on android at least)

Yea but I like the Metr battery percentage calculations for looking at my watch at a glance. When its connected to the BMS is uses the the percentage from the BMS which is always stuck at 99%.

I managed to rename LLT BMS using xiaoxiang app and indeed, Metr app could not find it afterwards. So I fixed it

@JoeyZ5 you can select battery type as Li-Ion (but at the same time see individual cells with smart BMS)

@rpasichnyk love the Metr Pro module and the setup etc. was super easy.

Just wondering how hard is would be to add the feature to run TCP Bridge in the background (so it can be linked to laptop (VESC Tool) and then return back to home screen with all the telemetry and still be keeping the TCP bridge open?

Thanks, James

This will not be easy. Can you share your use case?
