The Definitive Guide to Metr App / Metr Pro

I just checked with my 7.0 and location is recorded, no issues. Check that you have

  1. Location ON / High accuracy in System settings

  1. Location permission

  1. Notifications are enabled

  1. You have this notification on the lock-screen when the app is running

  1. Metr app -> Settings -> Location -> GPS Accuracy -> 0

Ok, the only thing that could be messing was my 'hide sensitive notification on lock screen" setting, i dehactivated it and will try tomorrow.

Do you use the notification always on display as a way to force the refresh of the location ?

That’s weird as the fact than the content is hidden should not prevent the notification to be recognised by the system.

Try it :+1: Foreground service is required for background location access. That notification and foreground service is kind of the same thing.

That-s what i thought.
Although when i used to work with DJI api, they had a function to use the locatiok even when in background if i’m not mistaken.
Worth digging there
Edit : thanks for your super quick answers

~How does one wire up an ESCape?~

How to wire METR to an ESCape?

okay, found the Answer!

  • 5v>5v

  • 3.3v>VCC

  • GND>GND

  • SWC>ADC1

  • TX/RX>RX

  • TX/RX>TX

  • SWD>ADC2

so it’s just the reverse basically.
Thanks @abusfullofnuns

I am getting an internal server error when trying to sync all. Sign in does not seem to work either (in screenshot its greyed but when I connect to board, I can click it but it does not do anything, or gives server error). Any ideas? Internet connection is ok.

Can you try again, I restarted the server. If it still doesn’t work, please send logs from Settings -> Show Logs to support@metr.at

That seems to have done the trick, thanks! Works great now.

I merged a few different records into one ride from the groupride I did last Sunday, some parts seem to have been lost. I know I hit like 160+ motor amps at one point racing someone uphill and that part among a few others seems to have been lost

It looks like cannot open the BMS status screen anymore after closing it. If I force close Metr and restart it, the BMS screen shows up, but it does not open if I tap the battery percentage icon. Is there some new way to open the BMS screen?

Weird, it should open when you tap battery icon. By the way FlexiBMS is (usually) powered only when charging. If you try to check cells while without connected charger, it might not work.

Yeah, that is how it used to work, but now it does not work anymore. I had charger connected and BMS screen popped up again after killing and restarting Metr app.

Edit: also, it looks like I cannot configure FlexiBMS in the expert tab anymore. Still, the BMS status display always comes up after launching Metr app (while charging), so CAN connection must be working.

Does it support password/pin protected LLT BMS?

Let me know if it doesn’t. Update should be out soon. Metr app v4.6.0

woohooooo

Roman -how do you show individual cell voltages without a charger being connected?

When I search I don’t get any results despite having an 18s LLT in my board and a few other 12s ones in my garage.

They don’t have the default Bluetooth name, could this be why they don’t show up?

I mean were you able to update the app already? There’s no update in Google Play that I can see
