Wow… you were this close to fucking up the wheel gear… lucky you!
I really should but I haven’t yet…
@Linny the gear took minor damage on only a few of the teeth I’m glad it slid out of the way.
Wow I just started looking at the builds here but this is amazing man! I’m very inspired. The blue theme is eye catching!
What wheels are those 8"s?
Currently on it are the bergmeister wheels which are just under 6".
The monsters in the photo a few up are 9"
Those are 9 inchers? Got a link?
Yep, just to be clear, I’m not trying to put these on those bergmeister rims. It was just a size comparison.
Understood. Do those tires seem to be good quality? They look cool and beefy.
Yes. I haven’t gotten to give them the ultimate test of a ride but quality wise they feel on track with other good tires.
Too bad that they cost 110€ shipped and have just 30PSI.
im seeing free shipping to canada (30-60 days though)
Been through this thread a good number!
Love everything you’ve done, Justin!
Miss those red hangers though
Looking forward to your future projects!
Much cheaper for me, only 70€. I plan on inflating normally and seeing what happens. If one pops, slime first. If that doesn’t work, there are plenty of other 9" tubes. I’m not worried about it.
Thank you much @donta42, your acoustic build is delightful. It was a pleasure reading your build thread. Great veneer work, I’ve never been good at laying it on home projects, let alone a deck.
I’m excited for your review. I started a group buy for the 10" off road tire. I’m curious how it will perform.
BTW, you and @donta42 have in my opinion the sweetest builds of 2019
No us though right?
No, I’m sorry.
Can’t get enough of your build dude! Love the stance of the bergs on the hummie deck. Are there vids or sounds clips up of the gear drive in action yet @moon ?! I wanna try bergs so bad, but will need a completely different drive train than my 72kvDD. again-again, awesome work, Justin!
Thanks again man! I have this one from before I raised the motor can angle and added a bit more grease.
Unfortunately I had a rough streak of flat tires right after finishing this board up so I only got to put about 200 miles on it before winter hit and I took it inside. I love the bergs though and know @haggyboard.timo has new tires/tubes being tested that aren’t as prone to popping.
