I’m wondering if all that heat fried some cells, reducing their capacity and forcing that p-group’s voltage up faster than the others? Hopefully not.

Ben/Duck is a solid builder so I would imagine he soldered the leads on before welding but I could be wrong. Just assuming because the nickel is folded over there. Pack is coming up on 4 years of age and has thousands of miles on it so I’m glad it lasted as long as it has, especially off roading. Really considering potting this battery in the new enclosure but the weight added is holding me back.

Looks like reverse polarity of the whole header? Any wrong wire on the header seems to be an instant bms death. My most recent fup was 14s jbd jumper to-12s but i pulled leads 0&1 instead of 14&13. Thank god it was on a pack for myself - was having one of those days where I just couldn’t get off the phone and all the interruptions broke my concentration and I plugged it in without really looking and seeing it. Had to replace the balance leads on the pack because it messed up the insulation. 
tested the bms anyway to see how it died and the voltage readings on 0 were off by a volt (just the reading the pack was fine). Felt so dumb i just took a few days off. I call that a cheap lesson - went and double checked everything i did that day. Then checked it all again later lol - trust no one especially me

I think I was off a number on the balance lead by one, starting at the low side.
Common man, there is a B- right there, connected to the bms at…. B-, why do you need to sample it twice?

Does anybody have reccomendations for what type of glue to use to hold cells together? I am thinking I will follow a similar method as seen in this video, but I’m just not too sure what type of glue to use. I am thinking a Electronic Grade Silicone might be the best option, or possibly some other kind of adhesive? Lmk if anyone has any thoughts.

Use a neutral cure silicone, doesn’t imho need to be “electronics grade “ or specifically dialectic. The one that i like is recently discontinued but it has a thinner viscosity and good adhesion but any neutral cure is good. The one you linked seems good
