Yeah, I put the battery on hold for more nicke, haha. I am interested in fuse wire, could only find large spools, and mostly outside us (are they banned here? Lol). Do you know of a supplier that can sell smaller quantities, say $25 worth?

So here is the PCB I tried to weld. Those welds came off too easy. Tried to float a slab of solder onto the PCB, never done this before, but I feel like I got the hang of it as I worked. Then I tried to set a nickel strip into it… did I overdo the solder? Do I go over the strip or just let the underside adhere to molten solder?
Pulling on the tab I can tell it is much stronger than the weld (d’oh!)
