are those rings on top of the truck to hold the bushings in place? because that was something my trucks are missing and is hella important. but looking real nice bro

i figured that from looking at your design.
yeah, the rings make the bushings compress properly and not just deform weirdly

Any updates on your build, just found this thread today and i am absolutely amazed with this build!

i upped the power limit on the vescs to 120a on each motor, which then cause extraordinarily fast wear on the drive and the flaws in my design came through big time. so i dissembled the setup and i am now working on an upgrade to over come the main issues i had on the previous design.
- grip, i genuinely was running out of grips so i’m upgrading to 4wd with 2 motors
- strength, the drive was a poor design as it used thin chain and material.
- bindings, standard mtb bindings are great for smaller boards but on larger boards they aren’t the best (even in boots).

UPDATES SHEEPLES, Honestly didn’t think this board would be revived.
Got my hands on an @ApexBoards predator deck and thought that 8 inch wheels weren’t worthy of the name apex predator so 11inch were the only way
Built some new motor mounts and prototyping a new design of my pkp trucks. @Andy87 if I’m happy with the new design of these trucks I may have a solution to your ICE CRUSHER truck width problem, they ain’t light at 1.6kg but should be hella tough.
I’ll post more updates and photos and progress on the new 2021 MUD MONSTER

when it was a 1:7.5 ratio it was 05b. but at the moment it is 06b
