TB110 Delam fix (hopefully)

Anybody tried E6000 on wheel urethane?

I’ve done about 50km with pretty hard riding kind of ramming this wheel into some stuff and still good. Its on the front fwiw not a drive wheel and I’m 160lbs so idk if its good for more, but she’s holding! Also who says these wheels look bad right away, 600km+ now and the rears are just getting their patina

I imagine front wheels see little to no urethane ↔ core pull compared to drive wheels. Although if I were you I wouldn’t sacrifice a wheel just to test it that way

Thing is it separated as not a drive wheel too. But I will rotate it into the back i dgaf lol.

My belief is that the faster you run these wheels the more this problem is likely to happen since the rotational force is stretching it open at those edges so as it’s compressed on the road surface it’s flung back up. Not that it should be an issue and not that 30km won’t do it, also weight dependent I’m guessing.

My diagram of this with the hollowwheel since it shows the exaggerated flat spot happening on the ground:

You see separation in the front too.

Has anyone tried getting replacements? And is there a specific way to take the core out and put it back in?

Bump. Are there any updates on the whole delam situation?
Last information that Ive heard, it’s only one of the latest batches, early ones didn’t had this issue and apparently it’s not the issue with the design but with something else. Is this fixed on latest batch?

I have 74a ones and they’ve been perfect, not planning to sell my set probably ever haha

Well tb doesn’t really talk to us anymore, but my gorilla glue fix is still holding. I haven’t used them in a while because I battery sag, overheat motors quickly with them and currently testing the glowwheels and my adapters, also screwing up my hanger before the steel ones are made. I’ll switch back to the tb110 wheels again and do a few hundred kilometers to see if it holds though now I’m curious again. I’ve been craving a better riding experience too lol.

BUMP, has anyone bought latest batch of 110’s? Is the problem still present? Magically gone?
I am aware that there was no official response from dex, but the wheels are still selling so maybe, just maybe issue was solved in backstage, would be nice closure to this fiasco.

Heads up some good news, Dex has removed blue 72a’s and replaced them with black 74a’s
Hoping for the best but still excercising caution. If anyone experiences 74a’s total delamination let us know.
