Well, they would be a third heavier than these 110s. If you consider these ‘a little heavy’, than the 150’s would indeed be ‘pretty heavy’. But totally within reason IMO.

Alright, I am done hijacking your thread.
I just dropped these thought because I love your work, and would love to see this go even further.
Sign me up for a pair of these and those  @torqueboards!

Happy Thanksgiving!

what do you guys think are the pro’s and con’s on these new TB wheels vs 120 foamies / cloudwheels ?

im dead set on getting the TB, but a friend of mine asked me and i wanna give him an informed answer

Foamies kill more range and they wear out quicker

and they have less grip (carving and full brakes) on dry asphalt ? thats the other thing i would have thought of

Grip is about the same, maybe a bit better on foamies. That’s their main pro. Everything else the tb win

wow ok my assumption would have been that slicks like the tb have more grip on asphalt

It’s cuz of the bumps of the foamies, just buy the 110s they’ll last you a lot longer

haha dont worry, they are practically on the way to me - my buddy got interested when i told him im getting them

They hold up pretty well for the last 500km.
Not a single chunk.

In my opinion the 107s have better grip than the Foamies.
The CP on the Foamies is 22mm not 44mm like advertised.
If you go off road it’s a whole different story.

by all means they should have, its for a reason that racing wheels for asphalt are allways slicks, but i dont have a set of foamies so i cant really compare

give them a cleaning i wanna see how much there is left of the tire profile :joy:

I updated the post.
They are in very good condition. The thing is, they get better and better as more you ride them. After 1000 miles you may get even a larger CP :joy:

the idea behind them i can really appreciate it, if i wasnt riding 99% smooth asphalt i would have gotten them allready - but for now im set on those tb wheels

they are like my wet dream ^^

Might want to change “Artic” to “Arctic” but they look sweet. Seeing if my local homeboy is going in on an order with me.
