I will do that thing but @mmaner will just say I have one belt looser than the other and I will lose my mind.
I 'm just messing with ya
It prolly is an optical illusion tho
I will set up the old wheels with old and new belts and you will see the difference. I’m serious about it being the idlers wearing the top out and making the belt thinner. Hard to capture on camera but the old ones as well as being slightly longer are a fraction thinner from the indent to the outer plane.
@Dareno the only thing which clearly will help to show the real length is an pineapple as scale close to the belts
The pineapple scale. Of course. Prove it once and for all.
Clearly one is 56T and the other is 57T.
I counted the teeth.
I just wanna take a minute and recognize all the good people who took it upon themselves, with no coaching at all, to be selfless and screw with @Dareno
He made the one mistake you can never make on the internet. He took it seriously.
Then we have all been masterfully trolled.
Likely the case
Trolling the trolls is inception level of trolling. Needs a whole different user level for that.
@mmaner upgrade me to troll boss quick! We’re on troll rolls here!
It’s [trolling] for SCIENCE!
The best kind of trolling
Really should have given you a clue boys. 2nd or 3rd post. I was waiting for the hang on mate you said you only run contitech belts… Really not sure a tb one would do 8000k’s
They are both supposed to be 320mm though. But juries still out I’m afraid.
That was fun. Seriously though I will cut the 2 old ones to see if they differ.
Yeah this is the last time I buy steel core belts. Managed to break 4 within like an hour by applying too much torque.
Steel strands snapped and caused the entire belt to crumple into a formless shape, wedging itself between my drive system.
15mm wide 5m 350 length
Where did you get those belts, and what material are they?
Those are TWBELT, bought it from alibaba. This one is PU with steel cords. They also have kevelar cords.
