I really love this game. These days when I am out I feel some confidence to push my boundaries a bit rather than just pootering around. 180s are actually practical, not just a challenge. My jumps are turning into ollies, and now i’m eyeing some gaps.
i need to practice doing tricks both ways more, but we’re getting better! doin up and down curbs, qhickly changing direction all the good stuff
i’m already jumping down stairs with 3-4+ steps (not much but that’s all I got at school atm)
just gotta learn to jump high wnough to jump up the stairs now😂
I was trying to learn wheelies and ended up sending it too hard and flipping over… my front foot came out and my back foot stayed in and twisted hard. I though I fractured my foot. Finally stopped hurting 3 weeks later.
This is where heelstraps really come in clutch, it makes the difference between twisting, or just the whole board coming with you, which I think is better
i like heelstraps, but i’m not taking my chances while i speed…. tho regardless if i fall it’d be bad
that and i have no clue how to put Tramps heelstraps on mbs bindings
been pretty ok heel-less so far, but it would be nice to have it available if i wanna do offroading orr am going at a slower pace so i can really push the jumps
Ive only used Heelstraps for learning Tame Dogs (Front Flips) on the Air-Bag.
I don’t want the board to land on my head. XD
Everything else is Strapless, and Loose Straps at that.
I use two stances for holding the deck with loose straps.
The Rock Stance, Where you spread out your legs and press your feet into the bindings.
and
The Rodeo Stance, where you pull our legs in-ward like your are trying to hold onto a Bull.
These two stances can help for 180’s and more. They will allow you to Shifty your board in the Air.
You may even need to use both stances in a combo to manipulate the boards direction.
Just my thoughts, hope the info helps for the strapless riders.
I think I’m gonna have to drop out of D.I.R.T. I’ll still try the tricks I’ve got time to do. School and Sports is taking way too much time, who knew 2 1/2 hours a day would make you tired
