Sub $1000 racing deck/enclosure?

Yup. I have been a victim of grease spray. I was accidentally standing behind a Stooge after grease was applied to the gears and the throttle was gunned.

Once I switched to chain wax it’s been a ton cleaner. Red n tacky works great but is far messier.

Motorcycle o-ring chain grease is the go. Spray it on after a ride not before so it has time to dry out and the fling is minimal.

I’m about to start building my (first) race-board on this platform, so hopefully it’ll be pretty good for the short track we have here in Europe. (plan on starting a build thread once it’s further along - taking name suggestions rn)

I went with the single-stack 21700 enclosure to gain hopefully even more ground clearance/drop the deck even lower

My go-to way is take a defining quality of the board and make it a pun

Nice, I can’t wait to see it! Is it going to be ready for Waldshut?

The goal is for it to be ready for Pardubice, which is scarily close. I’ve currently got a three day window between getting back to the UK and heading to Czech to finish the board

Darn, best pun I could think of was Brady Ra-iser but that seems quite off hahah. Anywys I’ll stop being off-topic now
