Power steering? Wtf!
Off-road? Haha… what clearance does it have?
Lol I gotta come get footage of you riding that thing offroad with my camera rig or something
No audio? I imagine there was a lot of cussing, really a nasty trail! Awesome!
Video quality from SRB. bad & worse
Not bad for aired down race slicks on a 47mph setup
I had the same thought.
@MoeStooge quick build two more so @ShutterShock and I can come ride the trail with you.
First look: SS Gravity Turn Assist. for 2025 track racing
Drop spine chassis puts the deckline below the hanger pivot center. Lateral G = Steering Assist.
Long rod V-5 style steering geometry.
Tomiboi 35deg deck.
T-6 Aluminum battery cover
Chromoly Spine
Chassis ground
#6awg positive cable plumbed from the battery compartment to the esc compartment inside the spine.
Hey some T Racing action
Heya @MoeStooge, i built a set up awhile back using the DH 3 link trucks. Its turning radius is not as good as what im used to, coming from the esk8 long hangar 3 links. Any tips on tuning the rod location?
This is the rear
This is the front
How close is your wheel bite on the front truck?
Also, from The picture it looks like dewedging riser pads.
It appears the rear is dewedged to bar posotion flat.
Putting in a non wedged front riser pad will increase bar angle and steering. Same with the rear.
Flipping the rear wedge 180deg will have the biggest impact on turn radius and liven it up. I would start with the rear and report.
The risers are the same thickness throughout, just to give clearance to the deck, they’re not wedges
What do you think of the rod placement? Currently im using the red bushing in front, and white bushings on the rear.
I’m having not so great turning radius, yet the board’s rebound is bad, it feels very ‘soft’
Removing the riser pads and increasing the ride height of the truck will increase your bar angle and steering.ratio
3 full turns out of the baseplate will do a lot for bar angle
Should i do it for both front and back?
The back will give you the most gains. I would start there
What about the linkage rods? Should I adjust them?
