How have people’s drives been going so far?

Thanks to @sofu I got myself a set and will be engineering them to work with SRB 3-Link and some TB110’s.

Leaning towards running them with some Flipsky 63100 140KV’s on an 18S setup. My main concern is if the gear housing/motor attachment plate will be able to take the strain of the 1.5Kg motor when hitting bumps

Folks who are using these, what did you do to seal these holes?

silicone sealant from the outside, carefully smoothed over on the inside.

Cool, i’ll give it a shot when i set it up! Was also thinking of a really thin 1mm steel plate that is sandwiched between the mount and gearbox… we’ll see.

Sugru but unfinished project

I don’t have a pair of these but it looks like you could fill the holes in with solder. Just an idea though, don’t take my word for it.

Yeah nah, I would print some plugs and epoxy them in.

For those who still use these drives. Check this out. Instead of the hex bolts and nuts, use a M4 Allen bolt and lock nut! 55mm for the long ones, and 35mm for the short one. This is much better.
